Title: Wonky stave/ New bow
Post by: bentstick54 on October 12, 2025, 06:00:36 pm
Last winter I took 7 staves that were potential burn pile candidates and put the heat gun to them to see if I could salvage any of them. So far 1 broke early in the process, 4 completed, 1 ready for a Truoil finish, and 1 roughed out. Here’s the latest.

Beautiful bow. I think those orphans make some of the best bows. Well done.  :OK

Clean simple bow, with a bit of character, just what I like :)
