Title: how to get more search results
Post by: jameswoodmot on February 10, 2026, 07:27:00 pm
not sure where to post this...

I can only get two pages of search results. Any way to change this?

Often I find topics on here from google search but i cant access them from google as it says the site cant provide a secure connection and i cant find them through the search function as I can only get two pages.
Anyone else having this problem?

Yes me too.  I’ve recently been asked to send links from previous builds and have a hard time finding them on the site.  When google searched it comes up but no access to it from google.  Not sure why this is happening.

The no access from Google is an expired server security that is fixable but cost more than I can afford at the moment. However there is a plan in place and soon as I have the mo ey, I will be getting that annoying server issue solved. Your pain is felt, it is valid, and it is going to be fixed hopefully within the next 3 months.

Yes, the solution is to remove the "s" from the address.

For example, this topic’s address is:
https://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,73538.0.html

When you click the Google result link and get that error message, click (or double-click) the address bar and remove the "s" from "https." After that, you should be able to access the page. That "s" is a problem because it indicates a secure connection, but this site cannot provide one.

Thanks Tuomo that’ll sort the problem until it’s fixed!

Sleek thanks for letting me know, is there any way members can contribute financially?
