Do you think this rock broke this way because of internal structure issues? Or because something is wrong w my strike?

Hard to say for sure but I’m thinking something internal. Has it been over heated?

I’ve had stuff I overheated do that .

Purchased stone from a while back...dont think it was cooked but dont remember.

Did you try taking any more flakes? Curious if it flakes or breaks.
