I've broken 2 of the last 4 attepmts but here are the 2 that survived!
This one is a kids oak board bow 20# @ 20".... will pull to 23" or 24"...... 52" NTN rawhide backed and painted by my wife. It is copied from a pattern I saw on here a while back. Please understand that I feel "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"!! ;)
It was also my first attempt at antler tip overlays.

Those are great! I raelly like the painting also :)

The second bow is 66" NTN osage, backed with ribbon snakes. 45# @ 26".
This one may be my new hunting bow for this fall depending on what else I may make before then. And if it continues to shoot as nice as it is right now!! ;D
Jawge and others... This is the one you helped me understand following the crown on earlier.
Thanks all, Lowell
PS. Shot this one at a traditional shoot last Sunday after wraping handle and setting a string nock in the morning. Shot a score 1 less than the score I shot on Sat. with my old standby hunting bow!! Made me feel like it was going to work out for me!! ;)

Great bows. I love the art work and that osage bow looks like it will be a fine hunting weapon.
