Title: super cheap bamboo supplier!!!!!
Post by: ZanderPommo on September 09, 2008, 10:03:57 pm: Google A.M. Leanord for super cheap bamboo. i've never tried it but it seems like an incredible deal.
3/8 and 3 foot long natural colored for 41bucks
3/8 and 4 foot long green dyed for 41 bucks
they also seam to be fairly pre straightened Feedback Welcome!!!

Post by: mullet on September 10, 2008, 05:36:20 pm: There is not a lot of difference in Tonkin from one end to another. They are also almost solid in the middle with a very small pith hole.The nodes are not very prominent and these shafts are smooth.

I'm thinking this is very doable depending on the hand selected quality. This would definitely boost my supply of squirrell arrows!

Mullet, in a bale of 500, what is an estimate of usable shafts from your experience? half or better?

I trade the supplies to make them to the arrowmakers ;D Are you sure that price is right? I would call and talk with them on the phone. The first bundle I bought 3 years ago was $48 without shipping ant the last one was $62, last year.
