Title: A successfull Saturday knap

Here is what I was doing while my wife was learning to knap Saturday.
It is an obsidian blade with a caribu handle. The lanyard is some rawhide I twisted into cordage and strung some bone beads onto.
The blade is about 3" overall it is 7 1/2" long.
