Title: Had a good year

2008 worked out pretty good for me
Got this spike with my takedown osage selfbow

My first turkey with "Old  Fencepost" my first selfbow made with lots of help from Ralph at OJAM 2

Nice year and harvests. and i hope you got workin on that doe quick she looked bloated and stiff

Warm day in TX, was 70 degrees when the sun came up, must have been close to 90 by the time I got to her.
I shot her about 9 in the morning, sat for about 30 min, just before I was going to start trailing had some more deer coming in  ;D
Just as I shot at another doe one of the others smelled the blood and snorted. The one I shot at spun and I watched my arrow go right by her. Then some turkeys were headed in, but still about 75yds out. Almost 2hours before I got to get out of the blind and go look for her. She only went 45yds
