Title: Where to hunt as a newbie, in Iowa?
Post by: customtppmnn on April 14, 2009, 04:15:40 pm
So several months ago I finished my first working longbow,  it was made out of red oak, and its pulling roughly 50#.  Thing is though, I've always wanted to go hunting, but my parents never showed me how, nor did my grandparents.  Now I can shoot this bow pretty accurately, but I just don't know where to go hunting, or how to find out where to hunt.  I live in the Davenport, IA, and I would really like to go hunt, especially since I ship out for boot camp in July.  Please any suggestions, would be grateful.  Thanks.
