Congratulations to James Parker (robustus)  of Creston, North Carolina
for an Incredible Bamboo back and Bamboo Belly Turkish Bow

http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,12437.0.html
all right guys this will be the last bow i post toward BOM,for the year, hope you fellows enjoy it.. bamboo /back and belly  54" tip to tip,60#@30" walnut riser, spanish cedar siyahs, horn tip overlays,,ipe and maple lams......absolutely, the most diffcult bow i have tried ,but im very happy with it .   robustus
"By golly she's a good 'un. I gotta know how you get what appears to be no more than 2", if that, of boo on boo to do a 75 degree bend and store 60# of draw weight.  Don't generally see that without some horn or sinew or both.  Good on ya.  Real fine work and thanks for posting." - DCM
"Doesn't get any better that that!  Amazing workmanship" -jackcrafty
"I love it! just like your last bow, it made me jump back, scream out, break my neck twice, and just getting back on my chair to say 'wow'!" -nickf
" That bow is simply amassing to say the least.Your finish work is excellent and the relaxed, braced and especially full draw just made my wife drool. First thing she said was "I want one like that"..     Thanks a lot   I'll forgive you if you send me the bow and I can tell her I made it  Again awesome job on one heck of a fine bow"-  Keenan

And Congratulations to David Knight of Hickory, North Carolina
for This Bamboo backed Bamboo Belly R/D Bow

http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,12677.0.html
This is the first bamboo back and belly R/D that I have done so I thought I would share it with you guy's.. It is 62"NTN 42#. Starting at the back of the bow through the handle the lams are Bamboo,Ipe,Osage,Ipe (core), Rose wood and hickory.. The tips are Osage and Kings wood with a small wedge of Osage under the boo...When I put those lams in the riser I new they would look ok but it turned out better than expected..  It is sweet to shoot. Dead quiet with no hand shock..
"That looks like some fast bow to me..." -medicinewheel
"OMG...what an ugly, out of tiller, a$$ backwards piece of trash!!  You need to send that bow to me immediately so I can do you a favor and dispose of it properly!  I can hardly even look at it....YUK!  By the way, my address is...  " -billy

Congrats guys. I saw David's bow but didn't get a chance to see James'. Maybe at the Hickory Shoot.
Although, I don't have to see one of James bows to know how fine they are! 8)

Congatulations, guys. After handling both those bows in person last week, I can say that they are both extraordinarily well-made-the pics don't do either one of them justice.
