check out the following link for a photo database of ethnological objects from around the world.

Click on the continent that you're interested in (I clicked on North America), fill in the search (interestingly when "bow" is entered you also see pipe bowls, pottery bowls, woven bowl shaped containers, etc.) as well as the region and culture.
I could spend countless hours looking at the bows and arrows that I found. 

One very interesting item that I just noticed is the following that they refer to as a bow ...
