Title: Fractured base Decatur and.................
Post by: FlintWalker on April 04, 2010, 11:13:18 pm
Some PINE TREES!!!! :o :o ;D
This was my first try at a Decutur. Pretty easy after practicing up on all them pine trees. Fracturing the base was scary though.
The Decatur is Sonora, as well as the next pine tree. Then, a piece of Ky blue and Buffalo River.

When you say Buffloe river. does that mean where it came from -- like the buffaloe river in Arkansas or is that a generic name for it?

By the way, nice work!! I love those pine trees.

Early retirement.....I doubt I'll ever get to retire, much less early :(
Stringman, the rock comes from Tn I believe. I think BR is just a name.

Thank you all again.  I look so forward to the Classic and seeing some old friends and meeting a few new ones.
Steven, if you hang out around the knapping pit...I'd say there's a good chance you'll get to see me make one. ::)

I'll be doing my share of time at the pit. Besides coming to enjoy the good company, Twin Oaks food and rain, the main thing I am coming for is busting rocks. And I haven't forgot about the marbles either!

Got it today Tim. Has to charge for 12 hours, then run completly down, then charge for 12 more. I reckon after that...It's good to go.  I can't wait to try it out!
