I hate to waste purty wood, so I salvaged the handle off one of my failed "furniture bows" and shaped it into a handle for this recent obsidian blade I knapped. The handle is locust over black walnut with accent stripes of maple and blood wood. Epoxied in the blade. What do you think?

Not only an artist...but a frugal one at that! Nice work!

Dang that's purty! And I got a couple of those riser sections salvaged the same way too!
I'm gonna have to knap a blade or two....if I can find a big enough piece to work! hmmmm. maybe dark glass!
Thanks for the idea.

Thanks, everyone. Shannon, YOU are the artist! Man, I enjoy seeing your stuff on the PA site. Your points and bows are awesome. Cowboy, Mullet, Jamie and all you guys are an inspiration.
