This is my latest bow and I like to share it with you. It's my first mini-bow or let say a wrbow for a midget.
The material is osage with hornoverlays and a chicken-foot-leather grip.
The Design is a flatbow with statik recurves and a max width of 7/8 inch declining to 5/32 at the tips.
19 inch from end to end and 20#@10", the braceheight is about 2 inch. The first shoots did have a speed of 122 fps.
The last picture in not fully drawn, it' s approximately 8,5 inch.
I hope this bow is appreciated by you - and just to let you know, usually I do build normally sized bows.

That is cool. I have a set of 4 started. My brother is into throwing darts, so im going to make him 2 bows to shoot his dart boards. The arrows will be tipped with 4p nails. ;D And of course I NEED a set. Justin

Very cool little bow, Karl. Your arrow speed is parr for a self bow. Usually add 100fps to draw weight for the average self bow speed. Looks like the Germans are gonna take over the site. ;D I am glad to see more and more new folks joining us, especially from faraway places.
Welcome to the family, Karl. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Pat

Hi K.H.
Welcome and you only have to work the right arrows for this bow ;)

You sure have a fine looking midget there. Now a big brother maybe 58" and 50# for up a tree. Ridge

Thanks for all your comments, it's really nice to get so much positive response.
@ AndrewS You hit the bull's eye with an insufficient arrow so I have to work on my skills to.
@ Pat B It's a pleasure to be present.
@ Dusty ;D

That's a cool little bow. I like it.

Good horse bow. As usual, you can rely on osage for short bows. Very nice. We'll look at it again for April Self Bow of the Month

yol vagyok, koeszoenoem szepen. es te, hogy vagy?
no, i'm not hungarian, but my grandmother is. and i had the privilege to be deployed to budapest for 5 months when the balkan wars started. by the way, hungary is a good source for european osage nowadays. they have quite a bit of it growing down there. the snaky stave i'm working on occasionally is from there.

Nice. Excellent use of a small piece of wood. All work with wood will keep your skills up. I'm sure you had to pay attention to every detail which is important for all sizes of bows. Very nice work.
