Title: 65 3/4" Tril-lam
Post by: tradbowr on April 24, 2007, 08:14:56 pm
Just finished this bow , Its 65 3/4 " TTT ,  64" NTN . 50# @ 28" The back is raw boo , core is blood wood and the belly is boo flooring. the riser is made up of Kingwood and Brazilian Cherry. tip overlays are Bloodwood. This bow seems to like all the arrows I put thru it. from heavy ash to carbons.Even with my XX short draw   ;D it spits them out with authority .  The bow has  retained   2 1/2 " of reflex  after tillering goes to about 1 1/2 "  after shooting but regains the inch after  rest.     Pete

Wow that blood wood is pretty.  You did a great job, its a fine bow. How about a side view of the handle, and a braced and unbraced picture.  Justin

Nice bow. The boo backing sure gives a bow that extra kick.  Pat

OH NO Bob, I don't own a computer myself. My business owns a few though.  ;) The rest of you guys will have to lay on your side.  I think I will post my next set of pictures up side down. Then you will have to stand on your head.  :D Justin

My laptop rotates the images for me.  It also thinks for me and tillers a nice longbow.

Nice bow there.  Spine sure shouldn't be an issue with that generous cut-out shelf.  Beautiful wood and perfect tiller.  You must be proud of that one.

Really nice bow, that riser wood is sharp, too. I just thought you lived on the side of a really steep hill ;D

Took this bow out  yesterday  ,,   Went to a 3D shoot.  Well I will call it a 3D shoot . but my freinds and I  would take turns picking where we would shoot from , more like stump shooting.  This bow really worked well for me shot where I looked and it shoots an arrow out with Authority.   ;D I think this bow will be a shooter for some time.

Beautiful bow. I love the colors you picked out. Good tiller. And it shoots good for you to boot. I would say that it is a perfect bow.
