A guy I work with got fed up with trying to fill his license with his Rifle...due to the hundreds of hunters out there on Public Land ....so he went scouting on the Federal land.....found a bunch of Mulies in an area close to a designated campground...so it was classified Archery Only....so nobody was hunting it during Rifle Season....so he came and asked if he could use one of my Bows for the weekend....I gave him one of my Hi moth Backed Hickory Paddle Bows...because they about indestructible .....gave him some sitka spruce arrows...and off he went....well 4 hours later he is back with my Bow...I figured he gave up and come home....well come to find out....there was a big 10 point buck running a small harem of doe....so this mental midget sprays a can of Buck Bomb Doe In Estrus on his Ghillie Suit and sneak in as close as he dares...then just sits in wait...the Buck gets a whiff of his Perfume....and comes in moaning and groaning at him....He shoots him through both Lungs with a Wensel Woodsman at less than 10 yards....and the Buck don't even go 30 yards before he starts His Death Walk...All I have to say is...he is Lucky he didnt try that with a whitetail...they aren't as sweet natured...and he could have been attacked.... I'll add picture when I get back to he house...can'td/l from my phone to P.A.....or I just don't know how....

Desperate times call for desperate measures >:D
Thanks Leroy

I question most of my methods.......................till they work!!!! :D

Mike, you are right about whitetails. He'd be walking funny or worse if he tried that with a whitetail! :o
-
That is awesome Mike! Can't wait to see pics!

I can imagine him trying to shoot back over his shoulder at the big whitetail bent on "servicing".
When I first read the subject line I was afraid it was something like "Desperate Times Sometimes Call For Questionable Ethics", but then I saw that it was you posting and I knew everything would be on the square.
So. Converted another to the fold Brother El D? Hallelujia!

Yeah...well I never stated that Joe had any sense..... >:D

Sounds like a good plan to me. Ill have to remember that when I'm having bad luck hunting. ;D
I don't think people realize how dangerous a lot of hunting activities are. Statistics show that hunting from tree stands is about the most dangerous thing you can do. Also think about the people that call bull elk while on the ground. I have been between a hot bull and his cows. He was tearing up every bush he could find as he followed behind.
Not a bad looking buck, desperate times call for desperate measures.
