Title: I found someone to instruct me
Post by: Wasatchhawk on May 06, 2007, 01:01:47 am
I remembered a falconry friend intorducing me to his new apprentice last year and he mentionede he was a bowyer.  I called him tonight to see if I could work next to him for a bit to learn the art, he volunteered to give me some one on one time for free.

My question is... Does anybody know Dan Perry?

Randy, dan is probably the best teacher you could have hoped to get, Not only is he a great bowyer but a great teacher as well. He realy enjoys discussing theory and why's and how's. You are off to a good start! Steve

LOL, say hi from Jawge. You definitely are in good hands. This is a true story. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law had Christmas dinner with a cousin. They are casual baseball fans. They said to me, "We had dinner with Sandy Koufax. Do you know who he is?" Ya I know who he is. I was very surprised. LOL. :) Jawge
