I love the comment below the video, "I take longer than that to peel a banana."

Amazing..Not the first one I'm sure ;)
Thanks Leroy

Holy smokes! I could watch that video over 20 times before I would have my deer skinned and gutted :)
-
Did you see how that bone saw went through that deer? Yes, the deer was still warm and the skin comes off easier but I've never seen anything like that. I would have cut my arm off whacking away like that.
-
I hope he was wearing kevlar gloves! :o I wonder how many he has cleaned.
-
I saw this about a month ago and someone posted elsewhere that he had a bit of help with the skin from air pressure.I said, I don't care what kind of help he had, he is still fast! :o
-
looks like he had help from that knife and bone saw...damn that saw cut through bone like butter.
-
maybe he works in a processing plant , those guys get real fast after a couple of years , takes me 15min to cut up a packaged chicken
-
Just think of all the knife marks in the hide though... Doesn't make for great buckskin :-\
A good while back I found a trio of youtube vid's about skinning a deer with as few knife cuts as possible, so the flesh side was clean for making buckskin. I'll try find the links and post them, if anyone's interested?

im with hatch. thats great if you dont tan hides.

I don't think it even had a chance to drop towards ambient temperature before going into the freezer!! :D

i worked in a processing plant for five years and skinned hundreds of deer , we use to have races to see was the fastest . but man that was pretty impressive :o i think just over 5 min was my best time. but they were not allways warm cold ones are way harder to skin.

Quick, that looks like some of them Stewart county boys. People from this part of Tennessee know what I am talking about. ;) ;D ;D ;D

Notice also, he didn't field dress the deer. He gutted it on the gambrel and a bunch of other stuff all at the same time. Did you notice how clean the cavity was with that method?
I'm impressed...

I don't gut deer at all anymore. It helps that Texas deer are so small that they're easy to deal with at live weight. I agree that saw is 10 times more effective than anything I've used. I'd like to see him do a wild hog. They take me twice as long as a deer, but I've watched guys do them in 10 minutes.
