Title: Playing with bark
Post by: Hillbilly on June 12, 2007, 11:10:57 pm
Made these handy little containers from tulip poplar bark. The one on the left is stitched together with basswood inner bark, and the right one with hickory inner bark.

It looks great.  Those dang poplars have got to be good for something besides attracting caterpillars.  ;D Marc St Louis sent me some birch bark with the staves he sent the other day. I might keep it forever because I cant decide what to make with it.  Its like being a kid in a candy store with only $1.  You want everything but have to choose.  :'( Justin
