I just finished up this Osage take down. Pretty straight forward selfbow.
60" long. 60#@ 27"
Unbraced, notice the snaky top limb (left limb). Bottom limb is nice and straight.

Anyways bow was hand delivered today to a very happy guy!
Dana....My daughter gets to color on any walls in the work shop part of the basement, she is 2. I am just finishing up a yew elb for her and will psot the pics soon.

Very cool bow! Nice and simple, except for the takedown part. Pretty easy or are they a pain in the butt? Never tried one myself.
-
Good job. Very nice pictures, too, except for the Full Draw. Got you bookmarked for August Self Bow of the Month.

A fine bow. Remembers me that I have to billets of yew for a take down on corner of my shop ::)
-
jbell, It was pretty easy. hardest thing is just matching the profile of the sleeve. Other then that its routine bow builidng.
Old Bow....Is that full draw pic poor and grainey? If So I can try and get another. I think my wife took a few? Let me know if that is the problem.
Thanks,
SJM
