That is cool to whoop one out in twenty minutes. I was sittin on the riverbank and thought i'd try that cordage thing one eve - took me an hour to make bout three foot of it, and that's just the cord.

Cool bow, Bob. I would have never thought of sea grape for bow wood. You are definitely pushing the envelope with different and uncommon bow woods. ;)   Pat

This little bow reminded me of stalking rabbits ,and each other ,though the bushes when I was a kid. We used little branch bows and had a blast ,thanks Bob.

Looks like a great little bow. It looks like the perfect bow to sit on the side of the pools of water just below the spillway of the reservoir and shoot crappie and bluegill all day long. Justin

Ta my knowledge Seagrape only grows in sothern florida, Mullet would know ifn it grows in central er northern Fla, and probably the Bahamas. One I made bow from is pigeon seagrape(Coccoloba diversifolia.) Theres another thats common called seagrape (coccoloba unifera), common seagrape. Leaves maybe 3-4 " long by say 4" wide. I looked in copmpost pile fer a represenative leaf but they is gone, eaten as it were ! ;D So, oooga booga give it a try and see what ya comeup with ! ;)..bob

sean,Yea you might have seagrape in Dallas.I've seen it in Texas,California and Chicago Airport.I'm not sure if it was the same as in Florida with actual grapes. They were grown as ornamentals and the leaves looked smaller and not like the ones here that had a wet foot in salt water.
