Folks time got a bit away from me, but it's time to vote for February Self BOM. Each one of them is a fine example of talent this forum composed of. Best of luck to all the bowyers!!

Hmmm?? I didn't know sinewed bows were allowed back in the selfbow category cipriano ;)  :laugh:

If you are referring to twistedlimb's bow, it isn't sinew backed. The back is bare wood, the sinew is wrapped around the handle and fades. Since the working limbs are one piece of wood and the back is bare it is a selfbow.

Hahaha....nope....I was refering to MINE...the photo of mine posted is the wrong bow and my sinew backed bow in the backed bow category....cip just made an honest mistake and I already
 pm ed him,and I was just poking his ribs in jest..lol

It was my mistake guys, went to the wrong post of blackhawk's to grab the picture from.  I've sent Cipriano a new collage that has the correct bow in it.   Dang, I've goofed pictures up 2 months in a row.  If I was my own boss, I'd fire myself. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

The maple bow (#10) is actually a laminated bow (maple backed maple).

I'll tell ya this isn't fair to the voter. These bows are beautiful, you guys are truly artists. I have a hard time picking just one. But I did.

great bows... hard to decide..... I went with the hickory bow.. I thought Misslemaster did a great job...  my runner up would have been the osage. #1.....   great work to all though....

WOW, thank you all!!!!!!!! There were a ton of first class bows posted , I am humbled that you chose mine. Its an honor to be on a forum with some of the worlds best bowyers. You guys are great! Maybe I will steer clear of the BOM contest for a while, L.O.L.!!!
