Title: Bamboo ID?

Have cut some boo - it's the closest thing to bamboo that I've seen growing around here (North TX). This isn't the same stuff I gathered last time - some of you guys should remember. Looks and acts just like bamboo - I think. Anyone in this area know what it is?

 As solid as it looks,I'd say Tonkin.
