Title: Standard Introductory Post
Post by: Scaramouche on October 18, 2012, 12:44:12 pm
I guess I should introduce myself.

I'm from Oklahoma, and I'm learning to make bows. I'm 36, a father of five, husband of one, and I'm odd.  ;D
I was in the Navy (electronics tech), studied history at Oklahoma University, and now I'm a stay-at-home dad while my wife finishes her degree (day care is expensive).

I'm on my third bow, having wrecked the first two. I've got access to plenty of Mulberry and Hackberry, and I can get my hands on Osage if I'm careful.  >:D

I've been lurking here for a while, but, now I'm not.

Anyhoo. Hello!

Welcome aboard. :)  If you aren't too from Dallas come on down and you can take home osage out my driveway and not have to be careful at all.  Good luck.

I'm in Norman. I guess I could bribe someone on the football team to make a detour next year during the OU-Texas game.

As long as my neighbors don't find out your from the enemy camp we'll be OK.  Dang they take their college football serious down here.  My daughter's in-laws are from Weatherford, OK so we go by Norman if we head up that way.
