I've never used it,but do a Google search and you'll get some hits. People have used it for bows.

There was one fairly recently.  Try the search engine here in the Bows section.

What part of the Cowboy State are you in?

I've tried a couple and not had any luck. They snapped right off the bat. Damn near first pull. Not givin up totally though since it's so plentiful in Washington State too. We have some property with lots of it.

I am over in Mammoth Hot Springs. I get most of my wood from along the Yellowstone and its tribs. You should have much better wood than olive over there. Chokecherry, serviceberry, juniper all along the Shoshone.

Good luck.
