AWESOME! That's the perfect age to get them started. What do you have on the end of that arrow as a blunt? Foam ball?

yeah they are foam golfs balls that are made for practicing (Target sells them). they are just the right density that they add weight, hard enough that i just drill a 1/4" hole about half way through them and push them on the arrows, but soft enough that they are safe. of course we don't shoot at anything we're not supposed to, but they are kids after all.

i used to set stuffed animals up around the house and we would go on "safaris", but they are getting stronger and even the foam balls can cause damage in the house!

Stuffed animal safaris?  You are probably in the top ten coolest Dads ever.

Yeah I'll admit it's pretty fun, we'll watch some old Fred Bear videos or something while I'm setting up, then we'll head out into the "jungle".

How much you charge for a safaris and how long do I get to go.

Mom gets full credit for the quivers! They love them, and were so easy to make...or so I'm told.
