Title: Choppy Choppy
Post by: bowmo on November 08, 2013, 02:39:16 pm
Since most people fixate on the tools of war when it comes to flintknapping I thought it would be fun to make an agricultural tool instead. Here's the hoe I'm working on. I've never seen the handles they mounted the hoe heads found here in IL in, so I just assumed this how they would be shaped. The handle is only rough worked so far and is green carved maple and the head is Georgetown. More pictures to come.

The weeds in my primitive flowerbed are trembling down to their roots!
