Another good morning in the stand. Early I saw six deer with a buck chasing does. Later this 7 pt. came into the field and came right for my tree. He got right under the stand, where I could not get a shot for the cover. Finally he came out from under the tree and gave me a 4 yd quartering away shot. You can see the entry hole, with the arrow sticking out. The exit was in the opposite shoulder just under the arm pit. He went about 60 yd across the field, where I saw him go down. Didn't have to track or drag, just drove the tractor up to him and loaded him up. I was using my new iron wood bow that is pulling 42 lbs. Good enough to pass the broad head all the way through. Pappy, don't you need a 7 pt for the money buck? ;)

Congrats, you are a deer killing machine. I gotta ask, are you sure he didn't die hitting his head on that rock when he fell?
