1.what does "Meane wood" mean?
2.in the records of ewb, is there a certain description or limitation of a flight arrow?

Hi. Meane wood is just any wood that isn't Yew, typicallay something commonly available to the medieval bowyer in the UK, Ash, Elm etc.
I think the EWBS has flight categories with their various standard arrows and also an unlimited arrow which I think just has to be of wood. (I'm not an EWBS member)
