Title: What is best to write on the bow

Post by: Knoll on August 31, 2015, 04:13:51 pm: Personal experience. If using rub-on poly, DO NOT buy the calligraphy pens @ Hobby Lobby using ink cartridges. Ink in those cartridges smear.

Post by: Pat B on September 05, 2015, 10:30:43 am: I use india ink and a nib pen or home made quill pen. Once the India ink is dry I have sprayed or rubbed many different finishes over it. When I used Sharpies I would wipe Tru-Oil over it after it dried then I could spray poly over that.

Post by: Hawkdancer on December 22, 2016, 02:25:18 am: Try a medium or fine "Sharpie" supposedly writes on almost anything and do esn't rub off -I like the idea of wood burning as well on a bow. Smells better than the Sharpie :)
