Thank you.
I try to do my work that way. I like to let the piece I desire to do speak to me.
Hope that's not to weird, but I felt this is what this skull was speaking.
The buffalo was so revered on the plains. A manifestation of The Creator.
I could do nothing less.

Dog, we all should let our work speak to us before we jump in with both feet.   Nice job on the skull. Not too much decoration to take away from it's natural beauty but just enough to make your point.  8)

Has anyone ever found an old buffalo skull?  I have two.  One I found on the river bank and one found by my uncle on a sand bar in the same river.  I imagine they are fairly old.

You should always let the stave tell you the finer points that needs to be done.

I try to put all my heart and soul in each bow.  Each bow I build to fit the person it's for but at the same time I build each bow as if it was for me.

No hurry If my heart or mines not in it. I do something else sometimes a couple days. I like looking it over. Wait a day and look ,you can see flat spots you did'nt see yesterday.

I like carveing anything no matter what the materal or what ever. I try to let the peice tell me what to do. I can just do it.
