continuing with the chopping the limbs to a point, then cutting with a saw and Slick to remove belly material.
Tapering the non bending upper limb to the top mid limb.

Dang PK, you know how to use those hand tools.  You must have a lot of free time with all the projects you keep starting.  Justin

change that
I do a lot donation work with my creations so it is to be said I have time to give. Yes I always have been good with tools power and old school, I prefer the old tools because if the power goes out  I can be creative by candle light ;D

and Now time to round the edges and start tillering then work on the handle. There is a slope on one limb tip because of the natural back I don't see that causing any trouble,I Hope. Not sure if Sinew should be added to the back ,will see after tillering.

Very nice.  Is that a machete you're using on the rough out?  I've seen guys rough out a duck decoy with a hatchet and it amazes me they can do so without turning the thing into splinters.

Hey, PK
Looking good. Take off some more on the inner limbs, until you're about 35-40# @ 20" with the long string, and then brace it. The quicker you get it to brace (low brace!!), the better.

I didn't think I would have a question on my own build along but, is there an advantage to have a String center off center to the side that I will be shooting from, seems my stave had more moisture in it untill after loosing wood now its off center about a 1/4 inch. The bend is in the middle of the bow in the hande, the handle is 1" wideth.PK

1/4" off center? I wouldn't worry about it, especially now. You can always tweak the nocks at the end, to line up the string.

And then I noticed a big twist in the limb, Glad I have a doorway and a strong Towel holder.I think I better let this set aside for a while and see whats happenin with the moisture content.

Dana (Santa)You sure did. I put it in a temp controlled closet and kept weighing it every day for 2 weeks or more, seemed to be The same but evidently not ,All is good, I am pretty good at getting wood to do what I want. Know is to see if the wood with Rebels. :)

50@26"  (Corrected typo)I have to admit I just had a panic attack from the excitement,A few more adjustments to the pins so I can use a stringer.Little handle work,The owl feather a coat of shelac then Spay it with spar Varnish,Hope its Warmer this weekend. I noticed that every Holmgaard is different. :) The Cam shot is getting more of the belly than direct side.
Thanks for the compliments,Holmgaards are definitely a challenge.

Test shots with new with Flemish twist 7" From  back, String twisted a bit more for stretching   Almost final tiller? Looks a bit weaker on the right side upper limb I usually leave it that way on any other bows but a Holmgaard not sure.
Range at 10 yards
Almost done ,be patient ;D

Hey, PK
Looks like a Holmie to me!! I tiller the limbs on a Holmegaard to be even.
If I was you, I would lighten your outer limbs a bit, especially out towards the nocks. Heavy tips rob cast, and make for more hand shock. Otherwise, it looks terrific.
You're absolutely doing the right thing with your tillering, by ignoring the outer non-bending limbs, and just looking at the inner limbs. Good job! Holmegaard's are awesome, yes?

PK the tiller looks good. It has nice clean lines.  I think you could eliminate some mass from the non bending limbs.  I would taper the width of the non bending portion in just a couple of inches, then run parallel the rest of the way.  It is twice as thick as the inner limb so it is 8 times as strong.  Don't narrow so much you loose stability, but narrow more.  Justin

Looks good PK, why don't you post the finished bow in the "BOWS" section.

Yes, looks good.  Make a new post in the bows section. It helps everyone (especially Old Bow) find the completed bow since everyone don't keep up with build alongs.  Justin
