Zuma, you got the Michigan crew covered in that last set. FYI, package is ready to be mailed out to you in the am. It was good meeting you .
-
Looks like those points in the case have to be Dan Zeus'.
-
Yea Jeb! All such great folks.
Only one guy wouldn't let me post his pic. ::)
Great to re-meet you, Jeb. A pleasure.
Here is the UP guy and his buddy from Georgia.
Two of our own favorite knappers.
One traded his bam-bam stick for a bananna.

Is Zeus a knick name?
He is missing one that is now in my posession. ;)
Hope you and Rog can make it next year.
-
Oh Eddie, here is the only knapping Parker
that may not be related to you.
She is Goooood! Have you met her?
-
I think that case of points belong to Dan Theus the retired dentist out of Texas. Angela Parker is fun to watch. I picked her video up at the Fredrickburg knap in a few years ago. She makes some really nice points.
The Georgia knapper insisted my grandkids needed his war clubs he didn't want to take home.
It was a great time this year. I just wished I would have grabbed more rock before I left!!!!
-
looks like it was a good time, hope to be there next time.

Looks like a great time, I see my old buddy Mike Conkle was set up. :)
Pappy
-
Jeb, if you grabbed a ton, would it be enough? >:D
Pappy, could you identify Mike Conkle for me in the photos?
I have not meet him as yet.
Here is Mike Cook, he was just across the asile from me.
I twisted his arm till he let go of this one.

Craig, Russ and Pete. Of course Craig got to knap toe to toe
with Angela. ;D
Russ did justice with a huge piece of Cacapon and Pete beat
his out of "Chigger Wood's Chert" discovered by Eric Morris.
Jake Webb and company in the background.
Craig's wonderful daughter was getting her knap on.
She was also good at shadow games.
-
yea, Dan Theus, I knew I didn't have the name right. I've heard about Angela and seen a lot of her points, she's very talented. She's a Parker playing with sharp, pointy things, probably related back in the family Tree somewhere.

All work and no play makes knappers dull.
These folks were not dull but witty.
?, Red, Crystal, Frank and Randy.
Pic #2 ?????
-
I thought he was in your 12th photo, I could be wrong but sure looks like him. ;)

Thanks Pappy
If this is the photo, it's Mike Cook looking at us.
Not sure about the other guys. First name is correct :)
I wish I had taken more photos but it was difficult
to watch the table visit others and knap a bit.
Your guy could have been there I just missed him.
With the Classic I am sure you understand.
Come on over this spring or next year.
Zuma
PS not this guy?
-
Mike Cook is the person facing us, don't recognize the other two from the back.

The blankets on this fellows table, where do you find them. I have one but would like to get another or two and don't even know where to look. The one I have was left behind at a knap-in and I claimed it.
-
wish I would have took your advice and stoped reading!! man that looks like fun. I recon aint never gonna be a knapp in in North Carolina!
-
Steve
They look like blankets I used to get in Mexico.
PM Jeb, I bet he can point you in the right direction.

Nice 'zuma', thanks for the pics. I should've stopped reading too, hated I missed it but nice to see a recap. @'beartail'; there are a few of us from NC, where are you in the state? There's a knap-in in August at Gastonia (all abo) and the Northwest GA knap-in during the spring. There are a handful of smaller ones in TN this fall as well and some smaller ones throughout the year.
-
Im way over here in Goldsboro. really sucks!
-
I'd start a thread-- there are quite a few here from NC.
Try to make House Mt. A few guys make it up from NC.
There are many NC knappers. Check with the Gastonia
crew. Check Paleo Planet etc.
