Title: Biting Clovis
Post by: Zuma on September 09, 2015, 05:39:36 pm
I had a chance to play out on the deck after unloading
from the Ridge. I was just cleaning up the long ear when
a little hunk snapped off when abrading.
Not sure wether a flake parted or the flaker slipped.
Yoooooza!

Well looks like we were knapping clovis points yesterday at the same time. That is nice work with the novac. Those flutes are tough to match on both sides.

My blood letting is usually from my legs and feet.

I usually avoid nasty cuts with glass and obsidian.
Flint and cherts have only got me once or twice.
But I'm kinda glad I have become blood brother with a 6"
Novaculite Clovis instead of a little snap base Lamoka.
