Title: Red Oak Sapling for a Warbow
Post by: WoodSorrel on January 30, 2016, 01:01:50 pm
Well I got a nice straight Red Oak sapling today that tapers from about 3-4" at the bottom to about 1 1/2-2" at about 6' with a few small knots spread throughout the sapling. Would it be to much to make this into a warbow in the 75-80 lbs range at 31" and 74" long. If it is possible what would the best way doing it be design wise? Thanks for any help and will have picks up as soon as the paint on the ends dry.
