Here's my favorite bow I've ever made. Osage selfbow, 67" long, 1.125" wide limbs, and 85lbs at 29". I had a pristine stave for this one, no knots, defects, or anything. Seasoned for 2.5 years before I worked on the stave. Shoots really, really smooth and makes the target shake when it gets hit! When I go out to shoot it, the only thing that gets me to go back inside is when my fingers hurt. I could shoot this thing all day if my fingers allowed it! :o ;D

The tiller looks good but my fingers hurt too.

Sweet bow! Looks like you need a finger glove or a tab.

Just shot this bow through a chronograph. It shoots a 505gr arrow at an average of 209fps :D
-
You should bring that bow to the flight shoots in the broadhead class. You have enough speed to get a record if you can get good arrow flight.
-
oh my god dude
Nice, narrow
-
Wow! That is a thumper!
-
Wow, 85 pounds. That thing is a beast. Nice looking bow.
-
Good looking bow. Don't hurt that shoulder pulling that Beast
-
Thank you :) No worries...I pull heavy bows frequently so i'm fairly used to them now. Funny story...shot at the target one day, missed off to the left, ricocheted off the ground and stuck 2 inches in a tree about 25 yards off, haha! Have to get a ladder to get the arrow out of the tree. :o
-
Haha gotta love those ricochets! That's a sweet lookin' shooter too!
-
great bend , real nice lookin bow
-
Impressive how much stress Osage can take without being backed! Wow.
Beautiful bow!

Thank you! Yes I love osage just as much as you all do. I wish I lived in a state where osage grew so I could have a consistent stock of the wood, instead of buying staves one at a time on ebay. But, being from MN that's what I have to do. To each his own, right? If I lived near osage trees that I could harvest on a regular basis, I'd probably be workin' on a bow every day since I love it so much! You guys that live near osage trees don't know how lucky you are!! ;D
-
Cool_98_555 , you're lucky to be able to buy the staves on Ebay.
I live in Brazil , no Osage for me 😢
-
Osage can handle the weight easily, Nice job on that one!
-
Nice, a bow for grown ups.
-
Nice work, Nice tiller, yes that should last a while, I know it would for me because I could on draw it half way on a good day. ;) :)
