I made 2 bows for the trade this year. I still haven't decided which one to send out. One is red colored osage from a 20+ year old stave. It was full of lead pellets. It looked like it took a rabbit load years before it was cut. There is still some lead in it. One of the holes on the back has a pellet lodged in the bottom. I tried to get a picture of it. The red bow has a kink out of the bottom fade that makes the brace height and tiller look a bit off. The other bow has a hole mid limb and has curly grain. It doesn't show up in a picture as good as it does in person. That bow also has a knot angling through the fade. It kind of looks like a flaming bulls eye target above the arrow pass. Both bows had handles that were to nice looking to cover up with a leather handle wrap. I used sheep horn for a small arrow rest and for the overlays. Sorry for all the pictures.

-
Sweet pair of bows Clint. The knotty one gets a rise out of me.

Yep either is fine with me... Or both, yeah just make it easier on yourself and give em both. >:D
Honestly, I didn't expect Clint to be able to tiller anything to my length, so when he handed both of these to me I was floored! After shooting them there was no doubt. His workmanship on these bows is very smooth, and a great example in contrasting old vs new Osage. Clint's generosity has rarely been in question and this time is no exception. He asked me if I minded that he had drawn my name and I answered resoundingly HECK NO! I consider Clint a great friend and to have a bow of his is kinda special to me. To have 2, kinda put me over the top. Thanks buddy, it means a lot.
-
The pics don't do these bows justice, to hold them in hand is the only way to I ow how nice these bows are
-
Thanks guys. Glad you like them Scott.
-
Clint they look great as always. Arvin

Dang, I must have missed these before. They are beauties.
-
Wow. Both sweet. Love that red colored Osage.

Taking nothing away from the bows themselves, the wood in both is simply beautiful.
