I've seen Bills arrows at the different bow shoots we attend and I've always wanted a set. It's easy to spot his arrows. He does an amazing job on them. I worked out a trade at Marshall with Bill for a dozen. He delivered them today and I was super happy to get them. They fly as good as they look. The shafts are Hill Cane from PatB with duplex nail points. He put the tracer feathers on most of them. They really stand out.
Thanks again for the arrows Bill.

-
Now that's a set of arrows to be proud of Clint. Beautiful work Bill!
-
Bill . . . what type feathers are used to make those tracers?
-
Mike....
Maribu Strut........you can buy at any fly tying shop.
-
Bill, will you show how you wrapped the marabou feather tracers. I have marabou feathers but could never figured out just how to apply them. I use rabbit zonkers from a fly shop.
-
Bill, will you show how you wrapped the marabou feather tracers?
+1 . . . Bill has showed me twice, but invariably I soon forget! :embarassed:
-
Nice looking arrows, Bill and I'm going to have to copy your spine tester.
Clint, you know when you lose that one arrow then it's not a set anymore. ;D ;D ;D :'(
-
Those arrows are amazing Bill. Those aren't something you just quick throw together and send off to someone. Osage you gotta be pertty special I'm thinking to get those.

Mullet, I don't plan on losing any of these arrows. I'll carry a junk arrow for any risky shots.
Bills tracers are awesome. They really show up on the target. He makes them look easy. I tried to make them once and it looked like I dipped my nock in glue and beat a chicken with it.

Lol excellent mental image there, this is really neat I have not seen those tracers before. Would there be any recommendations against using them hunting whitetail?
-
They make it real easy to see where your shot placement was when you hit one.
-
The only problem Id see using them for hunting is having to get the dried blood off of them.
Thanks Bill. Why didn't I think of that? ???
-
Cut the thread and wrap some more. ::) ;)
-
Talk about timely, I was just looking to see if you had a how to on doing these tracers Bill. I am going to be putting these on my hunting arrows this year. They also double as excellent wind indicators.
Thanks Bill!
-
Oooooh, so that's how it's done, I always just assumed you stuck one end of a floofy (yes I said floofy, lol) feather under your wrap and you're done. Nice to see the right way, thanks.
-
So those fluffy things are for seeing arrows when they fly... guess I gotta start putting some in my arrows then!
Very nice arrows
-
Bill showed me how to do this att Marshall and he make it look sooooo easy😋
-
Those are cool arrows. Thanks for sharing your method Bill.
-
Pure craftsmanship right there! Bill makes a great arrow.

HaaHaaHa!

I've shot with the dancing bear quite a bit the last few years and his arrows are the nicest I've ever seen. Those tracers are amazingly effective, when Bill shoots you see his arrows all the way to the target. When he hits the target you know right where the arrow hit and when he misses they are easy to find, especially the pink tracers.
-
Thanks Guys !! hope it helps ya......
