These took awhile but half way to a 1/2 dozen matched wieght and spine stone point arrows. I knapped 2 of the heads from heat treated butterscotch flint river, and 1 from mahogany obsidian both of which I got from Frank at Marshall. The shafts are red osier I harvested from my farm in March. Points are halvted with pine sap, charcoal, and a little bit of wax, white tail sinew wrapped from my buck last fall. Turkey feathers I was given by a local friend. Water base paint with polycrylic finish. Sure hope I can make them do more than look pretty.

Nice arrows, and nice points. I wouldn't spoil them with a lot of blood. This is the time of year to plant squash and sweet potatos, yea, change that diet and keep them pretty. ;D

BJ... believe me, it's all about matching the arrow to the bow..............

I believe you Bill I really learned a lot at Marshall and bare shafting really made me look at arrow building in a different light.
