This one will be a Lakota shirt after an original.
Upper half will be dark blue, lower a dark earthy yellow.
Beadwork and hair locks.
Started on this one while waiting on strips for the green one.

No . skins we not big enough for that.

The original is in the museum of natural history database/ anthropology.
I think I'm going to try to document in pictures progress on this one.

A shot to compare the two. Still waiting on beadwork. I have 48 hair locks so far to sew on . Got a bunch more to make.

I need to let it dry and touch up . I will brush the nap up and some what even colors up.
I may spray with walnut hull dye.

It is pigment . I get my paint cookies from. beadmatch.com
The have old beads and can help repair of original pieces.
I ordered 2 more blue to touch up with.

I induced age and wear into this shirt. I used black oxide pigment and hardwood charcoal
