Title: I learned something new:Popups

I was watching the Bizarre Foods show where Andrew was in NC visiting with a local chef and she showed him a late spring delicacy that I never heard of even though I plant a huge greens patch every year, pop ups.

They take the first growth of stems and buds when the greens start to bolt and cook them with the usual country ham or sausage. Sure looked good, I will have plenty to try next spring.
