Title: Big Sandy
Post by: Zuma on November 13, 2016, 11:19:29 am
I found a hunk of porcelain from the trade towers
my buddy gave me a few years ago.
This was stuff dredged up and out from the bay.
Some sort of architectural material

Nice point.
Are you saying that this is material from the towers that fell?
If so, that's real special.

Nice blade, Don.

That is glass from the thirties. It was used for decorative tile on the sides of buildings. I have some in green, tan, white, and black/purple.

That material looks like it works really nice Zuma, especially in the hands of someone who knows what to do with it.

I think it is. Not only because it came from the bottom of the bay
at lower Manhatten but my buddy was cool enough to think I
could use it to knap. On the dredge pile one morning there was
a real super find. A perfect 3" quartz Mountain Morrow broadspear.
