This is gonna be a series of pics just showing some flakes taken with the lightning rod.
This is a biface I posted earlier with one of the clovis points.
First pic is the results of working the first side. Then beveling the edge and abraded it, to work the second side.
After the bevel, it shows how I worked the second side down from the tip till I got a hinge.
After the hinge, I took a pic of each flake until it shows the base worked.
From there I put the camera down and finished it and notched it with pressure flakes

Thank y'all
I enjoy every minute of it, and have a good system to process and post pics that's really easy to do.
I'm gonna slow down slightly though. Been neglecting other things to knap more since I got back into it after being out of it for a while to heal.

Show us a pic of your Lightning rod tool. What are you hitting the rod with? Amazing point.
-
Thanks y'all.
I don't make points that big very often. I usually wind up with one or two smaller ones from a rock that size, but this piece just happened to stay in one piece somehow.

Sasquatch,
Thanks!
I'll take some pics of the rod and wacker today and post them this evening.

Holy notching! Man, that's gorgeous.
