Deep in the heart of darkest western New York State,
1/4 mile from the nearest paved road.
Two intrepid Yeti hunters, Two Fletch and Buffalogobbler on a quest for greatness and immortality, risked life and limb.
Tracking the great and fierce giant yeti (Yetigigantiss), into the deepest darkest reaches of the impenetrable wilderness of the Hawkeye Bowmen forest.
Despite the great peril faced by these two incomparably brave and resourceful hunters, they tracked and slew this fearsome beast with their selfbows!
With a very scary roar the giant yeti, the most awesome of all of the legendary cryptozoological beasts of myth was dead!
Rocketing Two Fletch and Buffalogobbler into legendary immortality as the two greatest bow hunters of all time!!!!!!

We propped him up for the hero pics, scotch tape on his eyes and mouth, in case you were wondering and no I did not check, I'm just assuming it's a he.

We used a super expensive super fast camera to super slow him down for super sharp super clear pictures, and we were super happy with the super results.

Good shooting, and an excellent stalk!😀 Methinks you should try more difficult quarry such as the western jackalope or the mugwumps. I would like to score some of what is in your 2nd canteen, though😀 Neat post, good for a chuckle and nice to see real bodies behind the post. Maybe we all should doe that's!

Great Job! That's the rarest off all Yetis! He is the long lost never seen before on cameras the great ALBINO YETI!!! Are ya having him full body mount? Loved the story we need some more of that kinda stuff on here, makes for a good laugh and conversation. TILL THE NEXT YETI KILL!

We have found an outfitter and booked a hunt in the great western desert. The hunt costs $68023.06 it is scheduled for the fall of 2378. we will each get tags for 2 1/2 western jackalopes, and all of the mugwumps and snipe our minds can conjure up.
The outfitter assured us he has enough to fill our canteens, which is a good thing because I plan on conjuring up a
mess-o-mugwumps!
I will write an article for Primitive Archer about this hunt we have booked, also I can give you the name of the outfitter if you would like to book a hunt yourself.

He's looks skinny when you look at him straight on but he is a hefty beast and tough to bring down, it took several swigs off the second canteen ;) and then we had to use arrows dipped in the blood of a chupacabra.

Being as I live in jackalope country, I have the opportunity to go after them often. For a bow hunt, I would use a sort of arrow that could easily be found, because the jackalope is somewhat of shape shifter, they are not always where you think they. Lighted nicks are legal here now, and would be a good idea! There are 2 known subspecies, 1 has antlers similar to the pronghorn "antelope", and prefers more open habitat, the other has antler similar to mule deer and prefers more forested habitat. There have been reports of a 3rd subspecies further to the east of here that has antler similar to the whitetail deer, both sexes are said to have antlers. Tracking is extremely difficult as their tracks seem to shift depending on mood and light conditions. The hunt requires at least 2 canteens, and a lot of luck! Some hunters have told me that it is easier to have a leprechaun join you for a drink than it is to get a shot at a jackalope. I think this is my year, though!😀😉

Darn! I hear the jackalopes are almost inedible, so I was really looking forward to making a mugwump mulligan stew :P, or maybe some mugwump pasties ;).

We sure have had some "Shinning Times" up at Hawkeye over the years. The Yeti hunt was one of many. You remember when the Hawkeye Gang chased after that legendary white buck or how about the time we shot that Rhino or them Pink Flamingos or the hundreds of the little HBs that took over our forest. How about some of the Legends of Archery that we have met and shot with over the years up there! It truly is a magical place where can you hunt Elk, Buffalo, Caribou, Grizzly and Black bears, Big Horn Sheep, Mt Goats, Wild Boars, Mtn Lions, Game from Africa, Snakes and Prehistoric Dinos all in the same day. If you miss your target, you can come back another day and try again until you get it right. Maybe you should write a book about all of the adventures that have taken place at that special place.

Most who read this won't understand about the magic,you have to shoot at Hawkeye Bowmen to understand and appreciate the magic.
Everything Two Fletch says is true, Rhino's, dinosaurs, pink flamingo's, a white buck, a 20ft python and a whole course that we shot with Fred Bear!
Hawkeye is a special place!

I hear that there are pink flamingos found in western Tennessee these days. Pappy??? Care to comment?

Our flamingos appeared only one time, about 10 years ago on a course named "Flamingo Row". If I remember correct the next year there was a giant Pink Rabbit playing a drum. Maybe the two species are not compatible and the rabbit chased the flamingos away?

Remember the check should be on the right bank, not the left bank of the Missouri. I think this mystical "Hawkeye Place" must be somewhere north of Little Falls, MN, and south of Kirksville, Mo! I will post a recipe for jackalope stroganoff after I finish the 3rd canteen! I have been doing more "research" on jackalopes and have found unconfirmed reports of a fourth subspecies to the north of here that has horns similar to the bison, note that none of these are confirmed, of course. JW may have more info as he is north😀, but I'm not sure what he has in his canteen!😀👹

And I thought jackalope's were too tough to eat, but I guess ya gotta know how to cook em right, I'll wait for the recipe.

For all of those who care Two Fletch could use some positive thoughts, Word has gotten out about the Great Yeti Hunters and world wide protests have started,
sherpas are no longer sherping, monasteries have been surrounded by little children with stuffed yeti's,
movie stars have sent letters to congress and organized a benefit concert
and last night Two Fletch found PETA protesters on his front lawn carrying signs that said "Save the Yeti" "Yeti's are People Too" and
"Yeti lives Matter".
I am concerned for his safety, he might have to go into hiding,
it is a shame what this world is coming to when Two Great , Handsome, brave and humble hunters cannot announce their monumental achievements to the world.
