Title: Some new arrows
Post by: nclonghunter on March 15, 2017, 10:20:04 pm
ABO knapped, glued with pine pitch and wrapped with hide glue soaked sinew. Natural turkey feathers ground and glued, then sinew wrapped on river cane shafts. Ready to hunt!

Nice Arrows NC, good luck hunting with them. Nothing makes me happier than getting those pretty arrows all bloody from a successful hunt.

Now you need a set with steel points to bring out for hunting  (SH) :NN :-D!   I don't think we are quite ready for bow hunting, but I may look for my steel broad heads from the '50's. And remount them to make up a set.  The wife would probably want to use her "wheelie bow" as she has it set just over 35#, and could maybe go a few more.  Might be able to talk her into a few day's schedule permitting😀  Wil send a pm
