Well, I guess I'll get it started. I got these two great, sharp as a scapel, points from Ed Brooks. Thanks, Ed, an honor to add it to my Trade case.

I don't know, Steve. kinda looks like an opal or agate.

Thank you for the kind words gentlemen. Parnell that green rock is what I believe to be common opal. I have a few different colors of this stuff. very brittle but local here in WA. Ed

I thought that is what it was. I have some of the white and tan opal with the same brown cortex.

I got my package from Eddie today. A very nice very large spear point. I'm very happy to start my collection of PA member points with one of yours Eddie. Sorry I don't know name of this style point or material it's made from but I really like it.

Got home last night and found a priority mail package from sparrow waiting for me. Two beautiful points and some material to play with. Thanks sparrow, you'll be with good company right next to Eddie. Two points, one biface, one preform and one spall. I'm thinking it dacite? I looks like dacite to me anyway.

On the one hand I'm really glad Bob is close by and able to give me advise. On the other hand, he certainly sets the bar high for the skill level I hope to obtain. Nice points Bob as always.

Here's the items that 1442 sent me, plus a few Texas tabs not pictured. The stone hook will be good for catching my stone fish 8) The blade is so thin it only has one side, a true beauty. Thanks Terry

I got a package from Lyman (NCLonghunter) yesterday and really like the point! Thanks so much and for the rhyolite preforms.
The point is also abo knapped which is something I'm working on currently, so I really appreciate it, Lyman.

Received a package from Trapper Rob. I believe it is dacite. Perfect size for hunting whitetails. Thank you, it will go nicely with my PITH collection.

Here are the point I received in the trade. The first is from Majuba Tom. This one almost went on an atlatl dart for hunting this spring, but I just could not do it. Tom also sent me a chunk of mahogany obsidian.
I received two points from Yosemite Ben. The stemmed point is a black obsidian, and the small point is made from rainbow obsidian. He also sent a preform made from obsidian, and several pieces of obsidian form making points later.

I tried to get a picture of the colors in the rainbow obsidian point but I never could get one to that really showed the colors. this was the best I could do.
I am happy to have this point. I had never seen rainbow obsidian except in pictures.

I received my points from tower and HOLY COW!!! :o :o :o
These are the finest points that I've ever held. The more I look at them I just can't fathom how they are so thin and symmetrical. The edges are perfectly straight(I checked with a ruler). I have to wonder if tower developed any new tools or techniques, or if he's just that good. Check them out.

Received my points from Mr. Thin Don Tower, eat your heart out guys these are 8 to1 all day long and just plain perfect, Thanks Don, you are getting your own case. I am very fortunate an have received other points from Don also just as THIN. Thanks Again Don.

Osage Outlaw posted the points I received from Dakota Kid in a new thread named, "Bowtarist Points" theses are nice points and will be cased with other points from PA members I've gotten in the past. Thanks a bunch Dakota Kid, I like the local PA chert point the best, but both are gooders. dpg

Thank you! It's actually some old glass that my 17yr old son found in an old dump. He knapped that one, and I knapped the obsidian point. He really wanted me to do the PITH so I made him add one with mine, that kid has surpassed his old man. Just graduated high school last week, that was why they were a little delayed. Glad you like them!
