Title: How good is Osage
Post by: DC on June 23, 2017, 06:48:17 pm
I thought I would try chasing a ring again. I think I was successful but this sliver has an awful narrow spot. Where the arrows are is .689" wide at the moment. I think the best I can hope for is .625" (5/8") when it's finished. It's 22" from from the center of the handle. The other billet is fine. Would I be wasting time(and a good billet) trying to get a 40# bow out of this.
Molle maybe?

Need more photos, length, draw length and design. A pyramid bow would be that narrow at that spot...

Just spit ballin without any pics but there's a bit more there then a 40# bow.18" of working limb on an osage is plenty.
