So my wife needed some work done in her office where she works. They told her she could have her office furnature built to fit her office and they would pay for it. So I got the job of building these cabinets and book cases!
This type of wood working was what I liked to do before I got into making bows.
I also referbished the countertop. It use to be baby blue in color and in two pieces. I joint them together and refinished it with rustoleum countertop paint.
The cabinets are constructed with plywood and faced with red oak and the sides are covered with red oak wainscoting. The book cases are solid red oak and everything is finished with a cinnamon tinted water base stain and gloss finish fast drying polly. Here are some pictures of it all in place! Thanks for looking.

Very nice Patrick, lots of useful storage space. The best way to make use of the limited space you have is to custom build like you did.

That's some pretty slick woodworking! I bet that countertop looks 100 times better than it did before, too.

Thanks!
Oh it does, it was that solid baby blue color from the 70's. I picked it up at a habitat for humanity restore.
