Title: 82 LB Meat in the freezer

Took a nice 82 lb deer this morning. 8 Yards 1/4 away, liver and left lung, arrow lodged in left shoulder, ran 200 yards , sister done good. Never stopped, ran down hill to the creek. :) Same Osage bow and PO arrows with ace 160 head. Filling the freezer is very much fun. ;) :) :)

Looks like retirement will fill the freezer early,  will that give you more shop time?  :)

Good hunt!  We are just about one and done out here, if we can find the one!  We can manipulate a bit and fill a couple of tags!   Got to find them to shoot them!  Here, deer!  Here, deer! >:D >:D (SH) :-D (SH) :NN!  Hmmm! Apple smoked venison!

Thanks guys, Our season is long and you get 3 doe or antler less tags a day and 2 bucks, we have a lot of deer even tho it don't always seem that way when you are out hunting them. :-\  It takes about 4 or 5 a year to feed me and Miss Joanie [ yes we eat it all the time] so I still have some work to do, but this is just the kind of work I like. ;) :) :) :)

Nicely done.  What pound bow are you shooting?  I an thinking Sister is a dog? I have a black mouth cur as a blood trailing dog.  It is amazing how fast they can follow a trail.  What is the breed you have?

Good going again Pappy.Might need you up here to get me one....lol.Robin and me get by with 2 deer a year usually.She likes chicken and pork a bunch too....lol.

Yes twocurs Sister is a beagle , my tracking dog, only 1 1/2 old so her second season, still in training but doing very well.  :)

There was blood Brad, but would have taken more than the 10 minutes that Sister took to find it, If had trailed it without her, yes dogs are very handy and save a lot of time.  :)
