How do I know if I've "engaged the back muscles"?

I think I may have figured it out. I you shoot a 200 shots in a few hours you get a pain between your shoulders :D and your arrows stop going left ;D

I usually start to get a pain between my ears,, but I think you are right,,

What happens if you are shooting left handed (SH) >:D! If it hurts, don't do that!  Right now,if I get 50 arrows, I've done good!  Of course, some days, I add in about 20-30 atlatl casts!

I tried throwing a spear a while back. I couldn't use my arm for two days. Don't have the elasticity I used to :(
