Title: Grip for bow
Post by: Nidhoggr on November 25, 2017, 06:13:29 pm
Been ages since I've posted on here!  I have an english longbow and was wondering if there is any sort of wooden grip I could attach to it?  The reasoning is I don't have the money to currently upgrade and need a bit better of a grip to use preferably with an arrow rest.

I have attached a photo of what the bow looks like.  It was purchased from 3 Rivers Archery in 2011.

Try sheets of 1/4" thick cork and wood glue. Use an Ace wrap to compress it while it dries. Then use sand paper to shape it.

Thick leather also works to build up a handle
